…And a good time was had by all! Simona and Sonya opened their wonderful show here last night and we had a packed house - quite a surprise for a Friday night, although I guess all the press helped. Thanks again to Good Day Sacramento and KXJZ for giving us some great press! All About Women: SN&R Art Pick of the Month!

What luck! Our new exhibit, which opens to the public tomorrow - Friday March 12th - has been chosen as the Art Pick of the Month by the Sacramento News & Review. It’s not for nothing, too; Sonya and Simona are recognized and celebrated both nationally and regionally, and it’s no coincidence that we’re hosting these two powerhouses in celebration of National Women’s Month. We’ll be open 11am-9pm both tomorrow and Saturday, so no excuses!

We here at La Raza Galería Posada are proud to be a part of the educational experience of young people in the area. If you have a cultural report due for your Spanish class, or are doing a small business study for your MBA, we’re the place to come to! Over the last few days, students from as far as Watsonville have come to La Galería to complete school projects.
