Wow. Just wow. I know it’s been a couple weeks, but we’ve finally dug ourselves out from under the combined weight of the exhaustion and exhilaration of Jammin in the Park. More than 4000 people came out in spite of the threat of rain and spent the day with us, Kate Carr, Blanca Sandoval and MALO. Even the light sprinkles at the end of the day couldn’t dampen our spirits, but we sadly did have to finish up an hour early. We almost took as many photos at the event as there were people there, so be sure to click on the pictures above - or here - and see if we caught you!

Our sincere thanks go to our stellar corps of volunteers - without whom the event wouldn’t have gone nearly as well as it did - and to our sponsors (the California Arts Council, V101.1, Telemundo, Corona, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, Home Depot, the California Department of Justice, WESTAF, the National Endowment for the Arts, SMAC and 7 Day Tires) without whom the event wouldn’t have been possible.

We’re doing our best to bring everybody back for a repeat performance next year, stay tuned for more information!
