Education & Workshops

Hi folks,

I know we’ve been kinda under a rock recently - or between a sandwich board, as the case may be - but we’ve just been so busy it’s been hard to keep up! Now that I’ve got a second to breathe, I should remind you that we are still programming school visits to Sacred & Shared: The Larry Hoover Collection of Mexican Ritual Masks.

PSA: Teachers!

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Good morning!

Just a quick note,

We’ve had a wonderful outpouring of interest from teachers across the Sacramento region to bring their students to La Galeria as a part of their social, cultural or arts studies, and we welcome each and every one of you. In an effort to make integrating your class and our current exhibition easier, here is our teacher information, which provides an overview of the exhibition, context and suggested materials to familiarize both yourself and your students before you come to visit.

As the visits go, there’s two ways to set them up: you can give us a call at 916.446.5133 or send me an email at michael@larazagaleriaposada.org. Let me know what dates you’d like to come down, the age and number of students you’ve got and any other specific requests and we’ll put the process in motion.

Looking forward to seeing you all, and our thanks!
